Q. What is Anantakiranam?

A. Anantakiranam is a professionally governed and managed Indian non-profit organisation, registered in Anantapur, dedicated to rural development in India. Concentration will mainly be on Anantapur district, as of now. Depending on our success, we will expand to more districts in the future.

Q. What does Anantakiranam mean?

A. Anantakiranam in Telugu language means “Rays of sun which travel unlimited distance” which represent a ray of hope to people on earth.

Q. What are the main programs of Anantakiranam?

A. Please visit the Programs section to see more details. But in general, we do concentrate on rural development programmes.

Q. Do I get a receipt for a donation I make to Anantakiranam?

A. Yes, you do get a receipt for the donation. If you are very far away, we may send you an electronic receipt because it is faster and easier. However, if you request for a paper receipt, you will get it through Post.

Q. What are the methods which I can use to donate to Anantakiranam?

A. You can use Paypal account if you have. If you do not have a Paypal account, still you can use any of your major credit cards to donate to us.

Q. If I have an urgent request or a problem related to my donation, is there a number where I can reach a member?

A. You can contact any of our members mentioned in the contact list.

Q. What kind of contributions can I make to Anantakiranam?
A. As a donor, you have an option to contribute your time and expertise by participating with local Anantakiranam events, or you can support us financially. If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can donate to a specific within Anantakiranam.

Q. Can I make a directed donation to an Anantakiranam project?
A. We only accept directed donations to approved Anantakiranam projects that are yet to be funded. And, we only accept funds up to the approved amount for the project. Please contact your local Anantakiranam members to find out about approved projects that are yet to be funded.
