We the Team Anantakiranam would like to thank one and all who participated, helped and made the Vanam project Phase-1 at Upparapalli, Anantapur a great success.

We with the help of locals were able to plant about 340 plants on 10th Saturday, Jan 09, despite the lorry strikes. Out of which  were 200-Sapota (Chikkoo), 70-Mamidi (Mango), 60-Vepa (Neem), 10-Kanuga ( Karanja).All the plants were planted on the road side in residential areas and every household would be taking care of the respective plant planted near the house.

We will be updating the site with the photos of the event in near future.

Hope that your valuable support is extended to us  in every step we take and in making the projects a great success.

Hello All,

As part of the program, initially Anantakiranam is going to start with plantations in the village and the school premises. The second phase of the program will be forming committees with the village youth and bringing awareness among the villagers on Health & Hygiene, Greenery,  Education etc. With the help of the committee members and the villagers, Anantakiranam will be contributing towards reforming the school which is in a very unhealthy state currently. Providing necessary resources like food, clothes, books etc to a group of orphans in the village will also be a part of this event and will be through out the year unlike a one time event.

We are happy to announce that the program Child education will be conducted on Monday. Program will be in K.S.R girls college, Anantapur on 14. July 2008.

We wanted to conduct it today, but because of Second Saturday and holiday, we had to post pone it to Monday.

Hallo everybody,

Anantakiranam team has met the school teachers and is on discussing the event date. The possible tentative date is 12. July, the second saturday. The event will be in Potti sriramulu girls school, Anantapur with all the possible teachers and Anantakiranam team members.

Interested people can come and participate/support in the event.

Anantakiranam is very happy to announce it’s first project, mission E for education of children. In a couple of weeks, at the school starting time, we are planning to sponsor well studying kids who are not financially able to bear it. We will help them to overcome this challenge and help them in getting all the stuff needed for education namely from text books, school kits to school fees.
